Recently we added an entire new scooter line-up to our website, many people have reached out trying to figure out which scooter is the right fit.
We are here to break it down for you and make sure that you are buying the perfect ride.
The most important factor in deciding which electric scooter to get is to decide if you want one or two motors.
A single motor is great for lighter riders, and people who are sticking to mostly flat ground. The advantage of a single motor scooter is they are lighter and less expensive.
This scooter is one of our favorites. It requires almost zero maintenance and has a solid rear tire which means no flats. The front tire is Pneumatic (air) which gives it a smoother, softer ride so you get the best of both worlds. It has full suspension with a top speed of 30 MPH and has a max range of 30 miles. This is the most light weight scooter that we sell.
The king of single electric motors that we sell is the Dualtron Mini. This scooter runs at 52 volts instead of 48. That means it's stronger, faster, and has more range than the other two single motor options that we sell. It has side lighting on the stem for increased visibility at night and has the latest folding assembly making it quick and simple to fold and carry. The Mini also features two brakes for more stopping power.
If speed is your game and you can handle a heavier option, we highly recommend looking at dual motors. Hills are not a problem, and you can keep up with city traffic. The following line of scooters all run at 60 Volts, include front and rear brakes, and have full suspension. This means tons of power and fun.
This best no frills dual motor scooter that we sell is the Dualtron Eagle Pro. This scooter specs insanely well and does everything the high end scooters do but within a budget. With a top speed of 40MPH and a max range of 50 miles, this scooter will get you anywhere you want to go without range anxiety. If you are new to dual motor scooters, this is a great place to start.
The Compact specs fairly similar to the Eagle pro but the biggest difference is It has solid tires. Solid tires mean you can not get a flat, and with the size and amount of rubber on the wheels, it's still a pretty smooth ride. The battery is slightly bigger than the Eagle so you will also enjoy longer range. Out of all of the scooters we sell, the Compact is the most reliable and maintenance free.
The Achilleus is the baddest 60 Volt scooter out there. It's got bigger tires, is insanely fast and has a huge smile factor. The range is insane and did we mention it's fast? If you want the best 60V scooter that money can buy, the Achillieus is for you. Dual Hydraulic brakes and 11 inch tires make this scooter a carving machine.
Bring on the heavy weights!!! If you want a foldable motorcycle look no further. These 72 volt scooters are serious and experience is required.
The Dualtron Thunder 2 is by FAR the best scooter on the market. It has everything you could ever want in a scooter. It's fast, has massive tubeless tires, and is extremely reliable. This is the scooter everyone at the Boosted USA warehouse fights over.
If you do NOT have motorcycle experience please do not buy this scooter.
